Padstow to Rock Swim 2026 - In Support of Marie Curie
In Memory of Mike Hewitt
This summer, one of our directors, Jinx Hewitt, will be taking on the Padstow to Rock Swim, crossing the one‑mile stretch of the Camel Estuary on 12th July 2026 to raise money for Marie Curie, a charity providing vital end‑of‑life care and support for families across the UK.
This year’s swim carries special meaning, as he’ll be taking part in memory of his father, Mike Hewitt, who was a long‑standing committee member and passionate supporter of the event. Following Mike’s passing in 2025 after a cancer diagnosis, the swim has become both a tribute and a way to continue supporting a cause close to their family.
Every donation helps Marie Curie Nurses continue their essential work, offering comfort, dignity and support to people living with a terminal illness, and to the families who care for them.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who chooses to support the fundraiser — every contribution, big or small, makes a real difference.
